Cory Lane, age 49, of Gordo, AL passed away September 4, 2021at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Elrod Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glen Kennedy officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. A short visitation will be immediatley following the service and also at the Lane residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Christy Duren Lane; his sons, Cody Lane (Breanna) and Logan Lane; brother, Troy Lane (Amy Kay); four grandchildren, Addison Grace Lane, Garrett Wayne Lane, Cooper Lee Kizziah and Callie Beth Lane; brother-in-law, Robby Duren (Ginny); sister-in-law, Amy Wallin (Daniel); father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Joan Duren; Paw Paw, James Lane (Kim); niece, Avery Duren and seven nephews, Mason Moore, Tyler Lane, Austin Lane, Devin Tilley, Kade Wallin, Colton Wallin and Wesley Duren.
Cory was born November 14, 1971 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Joseph William Lane and Tanya Bane Lane. He was an employee of Burns Plumbing.
Pallbearers will be Robby Duren, Reece Burns, Clint Duren, Mike Thomas, T. Harris, Richard Crain, Robert Prude and David Nyberg.
Honorary Pallbearers are Burns Plumbing Company.
