Coyt Eugene "Butch" Adams, age 69, of Carrollton, AL passed away April 3, 2020 at his residence. A private service will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 6, 2020 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rodney Hedrick officiating. Burial will follow in Franconia-Oak Grove Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Coyt Eugene and Shelly Jean Griffin and R. C. and Lessie Turnage Adams and his sister, Linda Stockman.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Dianne McGarity Adams; daughter, Amy Adams Bundy and husband, Ray; his son, Rusty Eugene Adams and wife, Melissa; four grandchildren, Adam Bundy, Seth Bundy, Emily Adams and Brent Adams; eight sisters, Donna Cantrell (Jerry) of Columbus, MS, Raemone Parr (John) of Grand Prairie, TX, Deloris Crump (Tommy) and Rebecca Adams, all of Columbus, MS, Renita Whatley (Doug) and Regina Adams, all of Cullman, AL, Dorothy Fortenberry (William) and Jo Ann Bane (Donel), all of Morton, MS; brothers, Billy Griffin (Tanya) and Tommy Griffin (Mary), all of Morton, MS; brother-in-law, Pete Stockman of Columbus, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Butch was born August 17, 1950 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was a member of Aliceville Family Worship Center and former employee of Pickens County Medical Center.
