William David Stephens, Jr., age 66, of Gordo, AL passed away October 26, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordo with Rev. Roger Lucas officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Christy June Stephens; son, Christopher David Stephens; his second wife, Debbi Gregg Stephens and his parents.
Survivors include his sons, Jason Stephens and wife, Kristal Latham Stephens and Todd Stephens; daughter, Margaret Leighanne Gregg; sister, Denise Brazeal and four grandchildren, Gabe Stephens, Logan Stephens, Emma Stephens and Lilly Stephens.
David was born January 5, 1955 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late William David Stephens, Sr. and Mary Edgeworth Stephens. He was a retired mechanic for the Tuscaloosa County Commission and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
