David Jonathan Satcher, age 41, of Aurora, CO and formerly of Gordo, AL died February 14, 2026 at Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Blakney officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  A short visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Satcher; stepfather, Don McNees; brother, Michael Josh Satcher and grandparents, Naaman and Mable Fair and Eddie Lee and Eunice Satcher.
Survivors include his wife Tess Satcher, his mother, Jo Satcher McNees of Millport; daughters, Haley Marie Satcher and Madison Lee Satcher, both of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Matthew Satcher (Michelle); niece, Kara of Happy Valley, Oregon; uncles, Mark Fair (Susan) of Montgomery and Clifford Junkin of Gordo; aunts, Sarah Belcher and Shirley Reynolds and a host of cousins.
Jonathan was born January 8, 1985 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a truck driver.
Life brings Tears, Smiles and Memories. The tears dry, the smiles fade but the memories live on forever. Memories are precious moments that help enrich our lives.  As time goes by memories seem to dim.  In the memories Jonathan left, his spirit will shine bright.  We know beyond a shadow of doubt that God has him safely in His arms, but we also know that he will forever be in our hearts and mind.                                                                                             Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy and Sandra Pate, Sheree and Jeff Gilliam, Shannon Jones, Hailey Pettigrew, employees of Dutch Oil Company and GNF Transport.
