David Kimbrough West, age 87, of Ethelsville, AL died March 6, 2025 at his residence. There will be no funeral service held.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kimbrough and Jessie May West; son, David West and brother, Charles West.
Survivors are his wife of 35 years, Marilyn West; daughter, Diane R. West; son, Daniel B. West; three grandchildren, Joshua Learned (Amber), Kayla Melo (Greg) and Shelby Martin (Nic); five great grandchildren, Eli and Colton Learned, Morgan Melo, Maxwell and August Martin; niece, Natasha Fitch; nephew, Nathan West; step-children, Sherri Carrier (Darrin), Donald J. Boutin (Mandi), John M. Boutin and Danielle R. Boutin; step-grandchildren, Matthew Boutin (Maria), Kyle Boutin, Rachel Lamoureux (Nathan) and Brandilynne Poulin (Nikolis); step great-grandchildren, Kyah Boutin, Lorelei Poulin and Lilith Poulin and sister-in-law, Gale West.
David was born October 30, 1938 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Kimbrough West and Jessie May Williams West.  He was a retired machinist for Pratt and Whitney and a a veteran of the United States Air Force.
