GORDO | Debra Lynn McGee Peeks, age 56, of Gordo, died May 7, 2015, at UAB Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. today, May 9, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Arbor Springs Cemetery in the Bostic Community with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded death by her father-in-law, C.L. Peeks.Survivors include her husband, Steve Peeks; parents, Albert McGee and Bessie Walker McGee; sister, Donna Sullivan (Jimmy); mother-in-law, Sue Hollinger (A.J.); in-laws, Tim and Sonya Brown and Kerry Peeks; nieces and nephews, Christopher McGee, Alex Sullivan (Meagan), Bethany Brown, Addie Brown, Blake McGee, and Kelley Cooper; uncles, Larry McGee (Tanya) and Berry McGee (Wanda); and great-nephew, Grayson Sullivan.Debbie was born June 25, 1958, in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. She was a member of Tuscaloosa Kingdom Hall, an employee of Northport Chiropractic Center, and a well-known resident of the Gordo area.Pallbearers will be Tim Brown, Berry McGee, Christopher McGee, Alex Sullivan, Troy McGee, and Dudley McGee.Honorary pallbearers are friends and neighbors of the Gordo community.
