Dianna Homan Burkhalter,  age 80, of Gordo, AL died July 13, 2025 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  Memorial services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Highland Baptist Church in Gordo with Bro. Shawn McDaniel officiating.  Burial will be in Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will follow the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Curtis Homan; son-in-law, Steve Kelley and nephews, Carlin Homan and Joshua Homan.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Wayne Burkhalter; daughters, Dawn Barnes (Tony), Dellinda Mathis (Jim) and Shellia Kelley; brother, Marlin Homan (Sylvia); sister-in-law, Pam Homan; four grandchildren, Logan Kelley (Ashley), Hannah Phillips (Clayton), John Braxton Barnes and Emma Barnes; great-grandchild. Levi Phillips. many nieces and nephews and other family whom she loved dearly.
Dianna was born October 30, 1944 in Gordo, Alabama to the late John Homan and Nedra Pate Homan.  She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a retired beautician.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
