Dollie Louise Jones, age 86, of Carrollton, AL passed away January 13, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Monday, January 16, 2023 at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Schiafone; brothers, Marvin, Thomas "Tommy", Oneal and Dennis Kilpatrick and son-in-law, Warren T. Landrum, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Claudia Turner (Wendell) of Tuscaloosa, Shelia Jones and Monica Watt (Gary), all of Carrollton; son, Ben Jones (Danielle) of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Linda K. Pate (James) of Reform and Faye K. Head (Ralph) of Trussville; seven grandchildren, Teddy Turner (Dawn), Christian Jones, Shawn Watt (Ann Marie), Shane Watt, Autumn Tidwell (Dustin), Caitlan Jones (Chris) and Emily Jones; eight great-grandchildren, Landrum Turner, Alyssa Watt, Mallory Watt, Preston Watt, Brylan Wyatt, Rhett Tidwell, Gage Tidwell and Drake Waid and a number of nieces and nephews.
Dollie was born April 1, 1936 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Archie Kilpatrick and Lola Goodman Kilpatrick. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a retired teacher.
Pallbearers will be Danny Head, Justin Parham, Marty Kilpatrick, Jimmy Pate, Brian Pate and David Pate.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Kilpatrick, Keith Kilpatrick, Timmy Kilpatrick and Brent Parham.
