MACON, MISS. - Donald Gene "Donny" Hall, age 62, of Macon, Miss., died January 11, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dewayne Kelsey officiating. Burial will follow at Backbone Cemetery in Echola, Ala. with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to and immediately following services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Millie Johnson and Jean Hall Collins; and two brothers, Cliff Hall and Hubert Hall; and brother-in-law, Fred Young.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Elaine Edward Hall; daughters, Donna Gonzalez (Dustin), Sherry Akin (Tim), Amanda Price (Richard) and Tammy Fulton (Randy); sons, C.J. Solomon and Codi Solomon; brother, Otto Hall, Jr. (Norma Jean); seven grandchildren, Donny Akin, Jeffrey Williams, Dusty Akin, Alyssa Price, Luke Price, Leah Hope Price and Coli Kirk; two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Donny was born January 19, 1955 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Otto Hall, Sr. and Lela Patrick Hall. He was a member of Zion Chapel Church in Louisville, Miss. and a retired welder and foreman for Taylor Machine Works in Louisville, Miss.
