Donna was born in Reform Alabama on March 31, 1959. At a young age she moved with her family to Argentina and then to Australia where she had lots of special memories. After the overseas travel, her family moved to Raleigh, NC, where she attended Millbrook High School and started her college career at North Carolina State University and finished at Mississippi State University with a degree in marketing. After graduation, Donna moved back to Raleigh, NC and met and married the love of her life, Bobby Wynn. Their loving marriage of 36 years was filled with love, adventure, and lots of great friends. Special memories include tailgates at NC State football games, family camping trips, and Caribbean cruises. In 2020 Donna and Bobby retired and moved to Starkville MS to be with her loving parents. They enjoyed many fun and loving times together including porch time, dining, gardening, house projects and rook games. Donna was blessed with a large family of 34. Even though she and Bobby had no children, they claimed all their nieces and nephews as their own and loved them deeply. The famous Doughty girls (Donna, Mitzi, and Susan) have had more precious memories than we could ever count. Our bond will never be broken and our love for each other is eternal. Her brother, Bruce, loved and protected Donna from the time she was born, and she loved him beyond words. All her in-laws (Sammy, Philip, Debbie and Tommy) were so special to her, and she considered them her own. The past year during Donna's illness, her beloved husband, Bobby, stood by and supported Donna every step of the way. She was his Hero, and he was her Rock. Their love for each other will never end. Donna was a true lady with a heart of gold. Loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was compassionate to all people and all God's living creatures, especially her beloved cats. She touched the lives of so many, we are truly blessed! Pallbearers will be Sammy Fishel, Philip Hurst, Jon Hurst, Rob Doughty, Jake Doughty, Chad Fishel.
Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Wynn, Scott Harmer, Jordan Scott, Austin Dean.
