Doris Porter Hall, age 88, of Gordo, AL passed away October 28, 2021. Graveside services will be 5:00 pm Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Hall Family Cemetery, 922 Floyds Mill Road in Gordo, AL with Rev. Randy Fuller officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - until on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the residence of Tim Hall, 922 Floyds Mill Road in Gordo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Junior Hall; twin sons, Terry and Perry Hall; her parents; sisters, Ruth Watkins, Jewell Randolph, Virginia Chatham, Roena Livingston and Geraldine Griffin and brothers, Buck Porter, Gene Porter and Roy Porter.
Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Sumners and husband, Marty, Pam Hamner and husband, Craig; sons, Dr. William "Mike" Hall and wife, Dr. Robin Hall and Tim Hall and wife, Beverly; two sisters, Sarah Wiedenback and Brenda Bailey and husband, Ken; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Doris was born November 9, 1932 in the Zion community of Pickens County, Alabama to the late Thomas Gray Porter and Lula Hitt Porter. She was a homemaker and member of Gordo First Baptist Church.
