Doris Johnson Langdon, age 90, of Reform, AL passed away January 18, 2021 at UAB West in Bessemer. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hassler officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. A short visitation will be immediately following the service at the funeral home. The family requests everyone to wear masks and practice social distancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gideon Langdon, Jr.; her parents and brother-in-law, Carl Russell.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Parsons (Bruce) of McCalla, AL and Kathy Gurganus of Reform, AL; son, Edwin Langdon (Kathy) of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Rose Marie Russell of Carrollton, AL and Elaine Latham (James) of Reform, AL; brother, Harold "Sonny" Johnson (Jean) of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren, Alison Cain (Josh) and Evan Langdon (Ashley) and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Cain and Zach Cain.
Doris was born July 25, 1930 in Reform, Alabama to the late Floyd and Estelle Carpenter Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rev. Glen Kennedy, deacons and members of Friendship Baptist Church.
