Doris Hardy Parker, age 82 of Gordo, AL passed away May 28, 2022 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 31, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform, AL with Rev. Gene Dawkins officiating . Burial will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Paul Parker; son, Randall David "Randy' Hardy; granddaughter, Dana Lynn Hardy.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Butler (Randy); brothers, John Hardy and Ray Hardy; sisters, Orie Thrasher and Ella Homan; grandson, Jack Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Doris was born May 18, 1940 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Jim Hardy and Ethel Strickland Hardy. She attended Emanuel Baptist Church in Gordo, AL and retired at Peco with over 20 years of service.
