Dorothy Jean Gilbert, age 86, of Gordo, AL passed away March 18, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Hargrove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Fred Gilbert; son, Freddy Kim Gilbert; her parents and three brothers.
Survivors include her son, Tim Gilbert (Dawn); brother, Leonard Dixon (Kay); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Dorothy was born June 22, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Howard Dixon and Doris Ham Dixon. She was a member of Double Branches "Old Corrs" Baptist Church and a retired employee of H & R Block.
Pallbearers will be Tony Greenwood, Jeff Greenwood, Ronny Driver, Donny Driver, Dino Plowman and Brier Bartlett.
