Obituary

Douglas Ray Noland, Sr., age 70 of Gordo, AL went to his heavenly home  March 14, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.              Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday, March 18, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Gray officiating.  Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Elbert Noland.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Kimberly Noland; two daughters, Misty Johnson and Nikki Perkins (Jimmy); son, Doug Noland, Jr, (Brooke); stepson, Heath Woods (Brandi); three brothers, Sonny Noland (Dale), Roger Noland (Becky) and Greg Noland (Shannon); six sisters, Gayle Wilkins (Jim), Kathy Akin (Glen), Maxie Gray (Randy), Alice Junkin (Steven), Hazel Bridges and Faye Mason (John); eight grandchildren Trey Woods, Tristan Woods, Tanner Woods, Timberly Woods, BreAnna Creekmore (Daniel), Zack Noland (Ashlyn), Brody Noland and Wyatt Noland; a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and special friend, Blair Posey.
Doug was born January 1, 1954 in Reform, Alabama to the late G. B. Noland and Louise Kyles Noland.  He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and a retired body shop owner.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Junkin, Brent Noland, Heath Woods, Trey Woods, Landon Sanders and Shane Noland.
Honorary Pallbearers are DCH ICU nurses and staff, The Pits Automotive Shop in Gordo, Perry Herring and Mikey McDaniel.
