PISGAH – Douglas Randolph Bass, Sr., age 67, of Pisgah, Ala., died February 5, 2018, at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilber Hoyt Bass and mother, Juanita Esterella Foster Bass.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah ""Debbie"" Bass of Pisgah, Ala.; daughter, Stephanie Mae Bass of Pisgah, Ala.; son, Douglas Randolph Bass, Jr. (Ronnie) of Pisgah, Ala.; sisters, Pamela, Rene, Samantha, Lynn and Debra; brothers, Steve and Richard; four grandchildren; step mother, Betty; and son-in-law, Clarence.
Douglas was born November 3, 1950 in Dillon, South Carolina. He was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Pisgah, Ala. and was employed in law enforcement for 24 years.
