ALICEVILLE - Earline Lewis Jones, age 92, of Aliceville, Ala., did April 16, 2017, at Windsor Place in Columbus, Miss. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Aliceville First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Inmon Wilson officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Jones; her parents; son-in-law, Dixon Corder; sisters, Flora Henderson and Trannie Tate; brothers, Lloyd Lewis and Earnest Lewis.
Survivors include her daughter, Kaye Jones Corder of Aliceville, Ala.; granddaughters, Andrea Mims of Reform, Ala., Jamie Duckworth of Gordo, Ala. and Anna Harrell (Jeff) of Caledonia, Miss.; great-grandchildren, Caitlan Oden (Stanley), Mary Catherine Condra (Skyler), Hunter Duckworth, Sam Duckworth, Bailey Harrell and Olivia Harrell; great-great granddaughter, Kinsley Oden; sisters-in-law, Dean Lewis, Lily Zaiontz (Hank), Clemmie Harris (T. L.), Helen Phillips (Oliver) and Jean Jones; and brother-in-law, Cliff Jones.
Earline was born January 26, 1925 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the late Grady W. Lewis and Lelia McCool Lewis. She was a member of Aliceville First Baptist Church, former owner of Aliceville Cleaners and retired from Green Gables
Antiques.
Honorary Pallbearers are Sojourners Sunday School Class, staff of Windsor Place, Hubert and Kathy Colvin, Nell Holliman, Margarite Chappell and Mary Jane Duncan.
