Earline James Nickoles, age 93, of Gordo, AL passed away October 7, 2023 at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care.  Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Double Branch Independent Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. Nickoles; her parents and two brothers, Hayward James (Jean) and Glenn James (Elsie Nell).
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Huff and husband, Mike of Fayette; son, Eddie Nickoles and wife, Karen of Birmingham; sister, Joyce Oglesby (Kenneth) of Columbus, MS; brothers, Ralph James of Jacksonville, FL, Clayton James (June) of Columbus, MS and Paul James (Jewell) of Meridian, MS; three grandchildren, Jeff, Steven and Michelle and eight great-grandchildren, Jonathan, George, Vivian, Hunter, Catherine, John, Jared and Marie.
Earline was born August 16, 1930 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late William Lester James and Pearl Porter James.  She was a member of Double Branch Independent Baptist Church and a retired employee of Estes Grocery Store.
Honorary Pallbearers are Fayette Long Term Care nurses, aides and staff of Station 2.
