REFORM – Eddie Jerome Kyles, age 53, of Reform, Ala., died February 9, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018, at New Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Dale Hammond.
Survivors include his wife, April Hammond Kyles; sons, Dale Kyles (Brittany) and Cole Kyles (Hannah); sisters, Loretta Jones (Johnny) and Lynn Moss (Daryl); brother, Rodney Kyles; grandchildren, Eloise and Oliver Kyles and Cooper Kyles; stepmother, Bonnie Kyles; mother-in-law, Edith Hammond; sister-in-law, Karen Hammond; nieces, April LeeAnn Shackleford and Emily Moss Junkin (Luke); and nephews, Lane Moss and Aaron Jones.
Eddie was born August 3, 1964 in Reform, Alabama to the late Wilford Kyles and Betty Jo Lancaster Kyles. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, a past employee for Dowdle Gas and Pickens County Board of Education and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be Pat Kyles, Harvey Kyles, Jeff Kyles, Junior Burkhalter, Daryl Moss, Jimmy Bell and Dale Lancaster.
Honorary pallbearers are Maburn Brown, friends and neighbors who have helped during Eddie's illness.
