Eden Lauren Shepherd, age 3, of Tuscaloosa, AL passed away May 14, 2023 at Children's of Alabama in Birmingham, AL.  Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Hannah Church Cemetery in Gordo with Pastor Troy Nicholson officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  A short visitation will be immediately following the graveside in the church sanctuary.  A Celebration of Life for Eden will be held 6:00 pm Sunday May 21, 2023 at Northport Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her baby brother, Saul William Shepherd; grandfather, William Earl "Bill" Shepherd; great-grandparents, John Rufus Shepherd, Lendel Reynolds Shepherd, Earnest Hilton Reece, Nicholas Joseph Tolstick, Jr., Martha Thrift Breitwieser, William Comer Fife and  Marie Fleming Fife.
Survivors include her parents, Jarrett Shepherd and Jessica Tolstick Shepherd; sister; Evie Shepherd; grandparents, Sharron Fife Shepherd, Nicholas Joseph Tolstick III and Judy Reece Tolstick; great-grandmother, Doris Nell Reece; uncles and aunts, Nicholas Joseph Tolstick, IV (Tracy) and Trenton Shepherd (Leah); cousins, Kara Shepherd, Wren Shepherd, Drew Shepherd, Collins Tolstick, Cooper Tolstick and Baker Tolstick and a number of great-aunts and uncles.
