Obituary

Edith Mae Gault, age 78, of Reform, AL died October 13, 2025.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Hall officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 17, 2025 in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Quitman, MS with Bro. Dennis Coats officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ammon and Gertie Miller and sister, Leanna Mullett.
Edith is survived by her husband of 18 years, Eddy Gault of Reform, AL; sons; Stan (Sandra) Lee of Northport, AL, Don (Tonia) Lee of Enterprise, MS and Jess (Shelly) Gault of The Woodlands, TX; five grandchildren, Amber (Tristan) Davis, Josh (Kristan) Lee, Alanna (Brendan) Nessel, Thomas Gault and Andrew Gault; a host of eleven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Mary Etta (Norman) Lee of Goshen, IN, Esther (Aaron) Lapp of Kinzers, PA, Susan (Andy) Kurtz of LaGrange, IN, Treva (Steve) Classen of Rockingham, VA, Ray (Vonda) Miller of Port Charlotte, FL and Bernice (Aaron) Stoltzfus of Goshen, IN;  father-in-law, Ralph Gault of Reform, AL and brother-in-law, Bryan (Wendy) Gault of Millport, AL.
Edith was born July 6, 1947 in Goshen, Indiana to the late Ammon and Gerty Miller.  She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and a retired nurse after dedicating her life to helping others.  Edith enjoyed talking with family and friends and her home was always decorated for every season and occasion.  Her passion for gardening showed in her beautiful flowers.  Her love for her family was evident in her life.  She carried their love like a locket next to her heart.
Pallbearers will be Don Lee, Stan Lee, Josh Lee, Tristan Davis and Brendan Nessel.
Honorary Pallbearers are Thomas Gault, Andrew Gault and members of New Salem Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
