Edna Earl Shirley, age 86, of Gordo, AL died March 22, 2025 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  Graveside services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Center Springs Cemetery with Jeremy Kelley officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  A short visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Shirley; daughter, Teressa Joy Kelley; grandson, Steve Kelley; her parents; sister, Margaret Booth and brother, John Henry Harless III.
Survivors include her daughter, Candace Oglesby (Jimmy) of Gordo; son, Scott Shirley of Gordo; son-in-law, Danny Joe Kelley (Cathy) of Gordo; brother, Kennie Harless (Patsy) of Tuscaloosa; five grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Shirley was born March 19, 1939 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late John Henry Harless, Jr. and Minnie O. Ballard Harless.  She was a retired seamstress for Debra Knit and a homemaker.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
