BUHL – Effie Lucretia Jones, age 72, of Buhl, Ala., died July 10, 2018, at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Springer and Rev. Wesley Robertson. officiating Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Buhl, Ala. with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Kay Robertson (Tony); sons, James Steven Jones (Angie) and George Scott Jones; brother, Roy H. Mullenix (Peggy) brother-in-law, Bob Jones (Nell); eight grandchildren, Heather Jones (Matt), Haley Noland (Chance), Lyla Jones, Luke Robertson (Savannah), Hannah LeCroy (Craig), Heath Jones, Logan Robertson and Rilyn Jones; seven great-grandchildren; nephew, Michael Jones; nieces, Tabitha Jones Dubose, Tammy Howell (Bryan) and Tina Watson (Bryan); and former daughter-in-law, Kelley Parker Jones.
Mrs. Jones was born January 7, 1946 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Hubert R. Mullenix and Effie Mae Driver Mullenix. She was a retired employee of Phifer Wire in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Luke Robertson, Logan Robertson, Heath Jones, Chance Noland, Craig LeCroy and Michael Jones.
