Obituary

REFORM | Elizabeth "Ann" Wilson went to her heavenly home on March 31, 2015. The family invites all friends and relatives to join them at Skelton Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015, for the reading of God's Word and prayer with Bro. Sam Andreason and Bro. Tim Meherg presiding.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Earl Calley and Eddie Lee Keasler Calley and son-in-law, Thomas Lee Noland, all of Reform, Ala.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-eight years, Allison Towers Wilson; daughters, Linda Noland and Wanda Moss; son-in-law, Malcolm Moss; grandsons, Brannon Moss and Zach Noland; and great-grandsons, Justin, Evan and Chase.
A beautiful blue-eyed blond daughter was born to Earl and Eddie Calley in February, 1929. As she grew up, her heart became as beautiful as her outward appearance. Ann was always reaching out to others and had kind words for everyone. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church and later attended the First Baptist Church where she was a member until her death.
Ann married Al in 1947 and became the proud mother of two daughters. She was a homemaker during her early years of marriage and later worked for the Pickens County Board of Education in Food Service.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. This past Saturday Ann and Al celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary with family.
In recent years, Ann's health diminished due to Alzheimer's. Although she could not remember the simple tasks of daily life, her family and caregivers treated her with great respect and loving-kindness. The family appreciates all who made visits, sent cards and called to brighten her day. A special thanks to the caregivers who loved my wife and our mother so much and to Amedysis, Amedysis Hospice – Rachel, Keisha, Jamie, Jolene, Leigh, Bro. Damon, Caring Hands of Reform, and all her doctors who managed her care throughout her illness.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, P.O. 178, Reform, AL 35481, First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 100, Reform, AL 35481 or to one's favorite charity.
