COLUMBUS, MISS. - Ellen Elmore Fair, age 98, of Columbus, Miss., formerly of Gordo, Ala. passed away December 22, 2018, at Aurora Health and Rehab. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Blakney officiating. Burial will follow in Center-Springs Cemetery in Gordo, Ala. with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.L. Fair; parents, James Vester and Fannie Pate Elmore; 12 siblings; and her grandson, Thailer Douglas Nichols.
Survivors include daughters, Priscilla I. Fair Nichols (Ralph) of West Point, Miss., Leatrice N. Fair Genaux (Ed) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Sherry E. Fair Gavin (Barry) of Columbus, Miss.; sons, Forrest L. Fair of Jacksonville, Fla. and Dennis A. Fair of Columbus, Miss.; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
