Emma Jean Vinson, age 89, of Reform, AL died July 10, 2026 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 17, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shawn McDaniel and Bro. Kenneth Smith officiating. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Howard Vinson, her parents, four sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Windham (Lanny) of Gordo and Renee Gould (Kevin) of Madison; son, Ronnie Vinson of Reform; six grandchildren, Melanie Vinson, Jamie Elmore (Josh), Brandi Oliver (John), Jennifer Arnold (Robin), Amanda Fest (Tyler) and Eli Aaron; 20 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Devan, Christian, Caleb, Nathan, Justin, Emma Lee, Joy Lynn, Merry Layne, Bennett, Lauren, Graham, Walker, Thea, Allie, Sloane, Titus, Charlie, Pearson and Grayson; sister-in-law, Dee Vinson and brother-in-law, Bonnie Vinson.

Emma was born May 16, 1937 in Athens, Alabama to the late Luther Davis and Mattie Smith Davis. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a former employee of Westinghouse and X-L Manufacturing and a retired employee of the Pickens County Board of Education.

Pallbearers will be Josh Elmore, Caleb Elmore, Justin Vinson, John Oliver, Robin Arnold and Tyler Fest.
