Ethel Mae Swedenburg, age 86, of Reform, AL passed away March 10, 2024 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. George Shaw officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Henry Stanford; her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her sons, David Hudson, Charles Stanford (Bertie), William Odis Swedenburg and Billy Wayne Swedenburg; two sisters, Doris McDaniel and Dorothy Bostick; brother, Johnny Hudson; nine grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Swedenburg was born March 28, 1937 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Grady Hudson and Adea Luciel Sanders.  She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Tyson Crowell, Matt Duke, Brandon Anderson, Daniel Stanford, Josh Stanford, J. R. Anderson, Preston Stanford, Darrin Duke, Alston Tucker and M. J. Duke.
