Edna Evelyn Shelton, age 89, of Reform, AL died November 22, 2025 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Ivey and Rev. Larry Shelton officiating.  Burial will be in Arbor Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 ½ years, Eugene Shelton; her parents; sister, Geneva McDaniel and brother, Tommy Hughes.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Shelton and wife, Christy of Reform and Mark Shelton of Reform; three grandchildren, Jason Shelton, Anthony Shelton and Michael Shelton (Kelli); five great-grandchildren, Triniti Shelton (Jacoby McCool), Jackson Shelton, Riley Shelton, Parker Shelton and Sofia Shelton; sister-in-law, Angie Hughes and brother-in-law, Bobby McDaniel.
Evelyn was born September 19, 1936 in Palmetto, Alabama to the late Walter Garon Hughes and Dora Mae Colvin Hughes.  She was a retired bank officer at West Alabama Bank & Trust.
Pallbearers will be Jason Shelton, Anthony Shelton, Michael Shelton, Riley Shelton, Parker Shelton, Jackson Shelton and Jacoby McCool.
Honorary Pallbearers are Debbie Costantio, Lisa House, Susan Javine, Lanesa Lanier, Tammy Boothe and the staff of Enhabit Home Health and Hospice.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
