CARROLLTON Everette "Buddy Hugh" McDaniel, age 72, of Carrollton, died November 17, 2013, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Marvin Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Debbie McGaughy and Pastor Roy Hamilton officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eunice Reynolds; and brothers-in-law, Frank Wright, Wayne Ezelle, and Willard Reynolds.

Survivors include his sisters, Faye Wright of Carrollton and Kathy Ezelle of Pickensville; brother, Elmer Dean "Debob" McDaniel (Julie) of Carrollton; a host of nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved and a number of cousins.

Mr. McDaniel was born December 25, 1940 in Carrollton, Alabama to the late Hugh Nelson McDaniel and Sarah Roberta Acker McDaniel. He was a member of Marvin Chapel Methodist Church and a well known resident of Pickens County.

Our precious Buddy is gone to heaven, but will live in our hearts forever.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Reynolds, Eric Reynolds, Cody McDaniel, Buster Wright, Frankie Wright, Patrick Ezelle, Jason McDaniel, Blake Elkins, and Dewayne Nance.

Honorary pallbearers are Aliceville Manor Nursing Home staff members and Southern Care Hospice. .
