Faye Hendon McGee, age 87, of Gordo, AL died March 23, 2026 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Scott Stephens officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will follow the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frank "Bob" McGee; her parents, Clarence Leroy Hendon and Mary Conner Pate; sister, Mary Leslie Carlisle and brothers, Thomas Leroy Hendon and Jimmy Dale Hendon.
Survivors include her daughters, Pam McGee Arnold (Milas) of Gordo, Kellie McGee McWhorter (Michael) of Northport, Tracy McGee Crowley (Tim) of Northport and Sandi McGee Stephens of Gordo; sister, Meleta Sullivan (Joe) of Elrod; seven grandchildren, Cody Arnold, Lacey Sullivan, Jesse McWhorter, Cameron Stephens, Cade Stephens, Zach Smith and Caleb Smith and eight great-grandchildren, Tinley Arnold, Hannah Arnold, Tripp Arnold, Griffin Smith, Avery Smith, Ann Bradley Smith, Parker Sullivan and Patton Sullivan.
Faye was born April 17, 1938 in Mantua, Alabama in Greene County.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a retired employee of DCH Regional Medical Center.
Pallbearers will be Cody Arnold, Zach Smith, Caleb Smith, Jesse McWhorter, Cameron Stephens, Cade Stephens and Rodney Sullivan.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
