Myrtle Faye Oden Sutton went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 2:00 am at her residence in Gordo, AL, at the age of 77.   Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Anderson and Bro. Danny Simmons officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery south of Gordo with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.   Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Oden and Effie Mae Driver Oden; brothers, Billy Ray, Hubert, Cecil and Jimmy Oden and her infant daughter, Debbie Sutton.
Survivors include her loving husband of 56 ½ years, Marshall Sutton; two sons, Ricky Sutton (Bonnie) and Gary Sutton (Tracy); ten grandchildren, Jacob (Jess), Adam (Kaitlyn), Macey, John Morgan, Megan, Faith, James Mason, Mattie, Miley and Judah Michael; great-granddaughter, Baylor Rae and a host of family and friends, who she loved very much.
Faye was born June 18, 1946 in Pickens County, Ala-bama.  She was a retired Home Health caregiver.
Honorary Pallbearers are her grandchildren.
