February 13, 1932 – February 16, 2026
Nona Faye Heritage Tilley, age 94, of Aliceville, AL died February 16, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday, February 20, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform with Rev. Derrick Brite officiating. Burial will be in Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in McShan with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Olen Heritage and Morris L. Tilley; her parents; stepdaughter, Wanda Tilley Powell; sister, Dr. Sonya Puckett; brothers, Ferrill Harris and Harlen Harris; brothers-in-law, Charles Puckett, Benjamin Hudson, Sanford, Lester and Harold Heritage and sisters-in-law, Annie Noland, Betty Jacobs, Bobbie Harris, Olivette, Vester and Joyce Heritage.
Survivors include her stepdaughter, Brenda T. Payne; Goddaughter, Barbara Aplin and husband, Ronnie; stepson, Eugene Tilley and wife, Linda; sisters, Iva H. Hudson and Sue H. Nairn and husband, Edward; sisters-in-law, Bettye Heritage and Christine Heritage; brothers-in-law, Ottis Tilley (Patsy), Willard Heritage and Edward Heritage; five step-grandchildren; grandsons through Love, twins, Blake and Brandon Hollis; nine step-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; caring friends, Aria, Preston and Felix Payne; the entire loving Heritage family and special friends, Connie and Tom Kay, Patricia and Willie Wilson, Angie Gates and Minnie and Henry Washington.
Faye was born February 13, 1932 in Armorel, Arkansas to the late A. T. Harris and Willie Jewel Lemons Harris. She was a member of Carrollton Baptist Church, attended First Presbyterian Church of Aliceville and was a retired accounting technician.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Hollis, Blake Hollis, Gary Manning, Jack Heritage, Ken Shirley, Everett Owens and David Puckett.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Willard Heritage, 9795 County Rd. 35, Ethelsville, AL 35461.
