Floyce Whitley, age 80, of Gordo, AL passed away December 20, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 23, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ed Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Tick" Whitley; her parents; sisters, Patricia Whitley, Diane Pruitt and Teresa Kelley and brother, Harold "Bo" Lee.
Survivors include her sons, William Whitley (Kelley) of Gordo, AL and Walter Whitley (Tanya) of Coker, AL; three grandsons, Cody Whitley, Cade Whitley and Will Whitley; three sisters, Barbara Cunningham, Peggy Pearson and Kaye Humphries; sisters-in-law, Nell Hallman, Elaine Whitson and Judy Whitley and a host of nieces and nephews.
Floyce was born January 8, 1942 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Allen Reynolds and Gerlie Mae Lee Reynolds. She was a graduate of Reform High School, a member of Browns Chapel Church of God of Prophecy and a retired employee of B.F. Goodrich with 26 years of service.
Pallbearers will be Cody Whitley, Cade Whitley, Will Whitley, Paul Whitley, Cameron Whitley and Collin Whitley.
