Floyd Harold Joyner, age 90, of Carrollton, AL passed away May 3, 2022 at his residence. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 5-7 p.m.
at Skelton Funeral Home in Reform, AL. A private funeral will follow on Thursday.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ann Gore Joyner; his parents, brother, Owen Joyner and infant sister.
Survivors include daughters; Sue Ann Porter (Cris) of Tuscaloosa and Janice Winters (Ronnie) of Northport; Son, Owen Joyner (April) of Tuscaloosa; Grandchildren, Nathan Porter of Northport, Anna Porter of Tuscaloosa, Will Winters of Northport, Hannah and Eli Joyner of Tuscaloosa and numerous cousins.
Floyd was born August 4, 1931, to the late W.N. and Willie Perrigin Joyner. He was retired from the Pickens County Engineering Department and the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School, Class of 1949.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ricky Williams, morning coffee crew and staff of the Town Square Diner, B-Mart Staff and the Carrollton Senior Center.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Carrollton Senior Center, 3008 County Rd. 5, Carrollton, AL 35447 or go to the Diner and have a cup of coffee in his memory.
