Frances Gilliland Holifield, age 86 of Cuba, AL passed away March 23, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 26, 2021 at Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike McKee and Rev. Matt Dove officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. A short visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Glenn Gilliland and J. W. Holifield; her parents; two brothers, C. L. Scott and W. D. Scott and daughter-in-law, Billie Frances Gilliland.
Survivors include her sons, Scott Gilliland (Terri) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Chuck Gilliland (Toni) of Butler, AL; four grandchildren, Joshua Gilliland (Elizabeth), Krista Gilliland, Megan Dove (Matt) and Robert Littlepage (Suzanne) and six great-grandchildren, Skylar Gilliland, Harlowe Gilliland, Malak Dove, Mattie Dove, James Fonde Littlepage and Opal Littlepage.
Frances was born October 25, 1934 in Houston, Mississippi to the late Curtis L. Scott and Ethel Brand Scott. She was a member of Cuba Baptist Church, a former employee for the City of Reform and a retired employee for the City of Butler.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Dawn Bryant, Greg and Susan Hamrick, staff and friends at Hamrick Highlands, Robert Turnipseed, Doris Keeton, William Ashmore, Rick Hutchinson, Agnes Dew and Ronnie Hollis.
