Cacyce Franklin "Frank" Reynolds, age 75, of Greensboro, AL passed away July 31, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Greensboro Baptist Church with Rev. Dee McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in Greensboro City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife, Janette Norman Reynolds; daughters, Kimberly Crews (Todd), Tara White (David) and Cacyce Davis (Terry); son, Michael Reynolds (Kimberly); thirteen grandchildren, Tyler Cruce, Zachary Cruce, Annmarie Crews, Brendan Dailey, Bret Dailey (Megan), Ben McMillan, Savannah McMillan, Cace Reynolds, Luke Reynolds, Evan Reynolds, Connor Davis, Mattie Davis and Sadie Davis and one great-granddaughter, Blair.
Frank was born June 11, 1946 in Stansel, Alabama to the late Cacyce Redford Reynolds and Coree Spain Reynolds. After graduating from Cullman High School, he married his high school sweetheart, Janette. He continued his education at Samford University where he received a BS of Pharmacy in 1969 and worked as a pharmacist the next 51 years. Frank was dedicated to serving his community throughout his career, but especially once he made his home in Greensboro at Franks Pharmacy where his customers were like family. Additionally, he was an active member in APA and APCI where he enjoyed spending time with friends and working to improve the profession of pharmacy. In 2020, he was awarded the APA Advocate award in recognition of his dedication and unwavering support. A very involved member of his community, Frank served on the boards of trustees for Hale County Hospital, Citizens Bank, and Hale County EMS. He was a member and deacon of Greensboro Baptist Church. A devoted husband, father and "Pops", he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Pall bearers will be Scotty Arnold, Charlie Drury, Wes Henry, Bill Kyser, Townsend Kyser, Dennis Ryans, Billy Seale and Dr. Bill Sudduth.
Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Barnette, Mike Cochran, Stan Deason, Mike Fuller,
Rencher Hall, Mack Henry, John Jay, John Looney, James Norman, John Ryan, Steve Vernon,
Tommy Washburn and John Wingard.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
