Frank Paul Zimmerman, Jr. age 90 of Gordo, AL. died March 29, 2024 at Northport Medical Center.   Graveside services will be held at 2pm Monday April 1, 2024 at the Hargrove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gordo, AL. with Rev. Marvin McCormick officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will have a short visitation after the service at the graveside.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ruby Johnson Zimmerman of Gordo, AL; niece and nephews, Nicole Johnson, Eric Johnson, Michael Thomas, Daniel and Becki Jennings and all the Jennings family; his great nieces and nephews, Bailey Katherine Johnson, Hayden Thomas, Kylee Thomas, Ginger Crosby and Tore Crosby.
Frank was born February 26,1934 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Frank Paul Zimmerman, Sr. and Marion Nygren Zimmerman.  He entered the United States Navy in 1956 serving aboard the USS KANKAKEE and the USS FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT.  After the military he attended and graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Administration.  Frank retired from McWane Cast Iron Pipe Company as Southern Sales Manager.
