Freddy Webb, age 65, of Gordo, AL passed away March 4, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Blakney officiating. Burial will follow in Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Melinda Clark.
Survivors include his daughter, Cassie King (Nate) son, Brian Webb; two sisters, Jill Webb (Anthony) and Debbie Soule; grandchild, Harley Evans and numerous nieces and nephews.
Freddy was born July 19, 1956 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late James Elmer Webb and Joy Ann Atkins Webb. He was a member of the Methodist faith, a retired supervisor for Perma Corp and a long time truck driver. Freddy was an Alabama Crimson Tide fan and a Jet-Pep coffee drinker.
Pallbearers will be Ray Driver, Johnny Watkins, Bryan Evans, Woodrow Wilson, David Green and Terry Fountain.
Honorary Pallbearers are the staff and nurses at Arbor Woods Health & Rehab and the nurses and doctors of CCU at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
