Gail Brock Acker, age 48, of Carrollton, AL passed away September 16, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Carrollton Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn McDaniel, Rev. Robert Heard and Rev. Wes Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola McCool Brock; her brother, Jeff Brock and father-in-law, Alfred Acker (Jo Ann).
Survivors include her daughters, Madison Acker and Morgan Acker; father, Bobby Brock; the father of her children, Kenneth Acker; mother-in-law, Janice Acker; uncle and aunt, James and Betty Hayes; special friends, Sharon McGee and Janis Lindsey; a number of cousins and a host of friends.
Gail was born July 5, 1973 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was an RN employed by Pickens County Primary Care in Reform. Gail's pride and joy were her girls, Madison and Morgan. She was a wonderful and dedicated nurse with a servant's heart. She touched so many people during her short life. Gail loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Carrollton Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Dustin McGee, Caleb McGee, Perry Hickman, Billy Brownlee, Randy Hayes, Jimmy Brock, William Acker, Ken Acker and John McGee.
Honorary Pallbearers are Pickens County Primary Care, Dr. Julia Boothe, Dr. Neil Honea,
Dr. James Parker, employees of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home, Manderson Cancer Center, Dr. Hughes, Dr. Tucker, the Sister Chicks, members of Carrollton Baptist Church and Todd Holder.
