Linda Gail Sutton Alexander, age 67, of Carrollton, AL passed away December 20, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Marvin Chapel UMC Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Gibson and Rev. Trey Reece officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Alton Alexander; her parents; brother, Charles M. Sutton; sister-in-law, Debbie Sutton and niece, Kathy Fields.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Lynne Purdy (Jason) of Panama City, FL; son, Joel Alexander (Bonnie) of Fayette, AL; sister, Pam S. Alexander (Bill) of Carrollton, AL; brother, Johnny Sutton of Hayden, AL and grandson, Logan Chance Alexander.
Gail was born January 23, 1954 in Augusta, Georgia to the late John William Sutton, Sr. and Ida Pearl Phelps Sutton. She was a member of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church and a retired employee of West Alabama Bank & Trust.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Sutton, David Sutton, Zack Sutton, William Alexander, Perry Hickman and Terry Pate.
Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of TSICU at DCH Regional Medical Center and members of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church.
