Gail Bonner Griffin, age 81, of Reform, AL passed away May 14, 2024 in Ethelsville, AL.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, May 17, 2024 at Arbor Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hall officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olive D. Bonner and Jessie Minton Bonner; her husband, Donald Strickland; grandson, Christopher Hickman and brothers, Milford Bonner, Alton Bonner and O. D. Bonner.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy McDaniel (Tony) and Tammy Parker (Jamie Oglesby); four grandchildren, Jessica Morris (Josh Smith), Ashley Mann (Veto), Jodi Griffith (Jonathan) and Bryanna Stephens (Taylor); twelve great-grandchildren, Brandon, Wesley and Olivia Reece, Parker Kate, Ross and Rhett Griffith, Stella Morris, Georgia Lake and McKinzey, Christian, Everley and Tansley Mann; sister-in-law, Blanche Bonner; special nephews and niece, Mark Bonner (Lisa), Josh Bonner (Stacy) and Meagan Abramo (Carl); several other nieces and nephews and special friend, Danny Cameron.
Gail was born in  1942  less than a mile from where she lived out her life on the family farm.  She took great joy in having spent her life there.  Gail was a people person and enjoyed her many friends.  She was an avid reader and never stopped learning.  She looked forward to and spent many hours playing Bridge with her Bridge Club.  She loved to travel and she visited many places in her life.  While she loved her travels, she was always glad to return home.  That, and her family was her greatest joy.
