George Glenn Hager, age 90, of Coker, AL died September 15, 2026 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rodney Hedrick officiating. Burial will be in Pate Cemetery in Buhl with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Elsie Hager; sisters, twins, Adell and Odell and Juanita and a brother, Joe Hager.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Leona Boothe Hager; three daughters, Linda Tunnell (George), Brenda Cargile (Terrell) and Corintha Helton (Doug); two sisters, Mary Jennings (Ray) and Marilyn Snider; six grandchildren, David Tunnell, Kathy Brown, Cindy Gann, Glenn Tunnell, Justin Cargile and Dusty Gargile; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

George was born October 30, 1935 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Grady Hager and Elsie Channell Hager. He was a member of the Church of God and a retired employee of Joe Williamson Construction. George was a carpenter for 67 years.

Pallbearers will be Justin Cargile, Dusty Cargile, Glenn Tunnell, David Tunnell, Johnathan Cargile, Mason Gann and Buddy Boothe.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Kamal, Dr. Mary Clapps, Dr. Mohammad Azam and the staff of DCH Regional Medical Center ER.
