Gerald Wayne "Jerri" Mosser, Sr., age 78, of Caldwell, Ohio passed away April 3, 2024 at his daughter's residence in Gordo, AL.  The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Friday, April 5, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home in Reform, AL. Funeral services will be held in Caldwell, Ohio with McVay-Perkins Funeral Home directing, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Mosser and Diena Tice Mosser; two brothers, Roger Mosser and Frank Mosser and sister, Sandra Heller (Ron).
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Joyce Ann Gerst Mosser; daughters, Debbie Goodman (Marty), Kim Plowman (James), Melissa Hanson and Korri Glidden (Thor); sons, Gerald "Butch" Mosser, Jr, (Vicki) and Trenton Hanson (Alisha); brother, Robert Mosser (Venetta); twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Jerri was born August 23, 1945 in Ohio.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy with 23 years of service. He started his Navy career with 3 tours in Vietnam, then returning to service in 1976.  During his years of service, he toured almost every non-Communist country and he retired from the United States Navy in 1991 after a tour in Desert Storm.  After retiring from his military career, he went to work for Mahle Steele Plant in Caldwell, Ohio where he worked for 16 years before retirement.
In his spare time, he enjoyed being in the Noble County Car Cruisers Club, golfing, camping and traveling all over the United States. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Mary's Church of Fulda.  Jerri never met a stranger.
