Glendon Durand Wilburn, age 61, of Echola, AL passed away February 22, 2022 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is handling all arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Jean Miller Wilburn.
Survivors include his father, Raymond Babe Wilburn; sister, Missy Shirley (Glen); brother, Pat Wilburn (Tina); nephews, Brad Shirley (Hannah), Ryan Shirley and Tyler Wilburn (Emily); niece, Chelsea Clanton (Chris); step-daughters, Mandy Perkins (Randy) and Jodi Wilson (Josh) and several great-nephews, great-nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and step-grandchildren.
Glen was a thoughtful son, brother, stepfather and friend. He was a retired painter with the University of Alabama and a retired veteran of the Army National Guard with over 20 years of service. He had many friends and never met a stranger. Glen loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and liked tinkering with old cars. His sense of humor and his laugh will be remembered by all. He will be greatly missed.
