Gloria Jean Hester, age 68, of Aliceville, AL passed away January 20, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, TN. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Garden Baptist Church in Aliceville with Rev. Mike Ezelle officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the church. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform was in charge of the arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her sister, Venus Hester; two brothers, Wayne Hester (Debbie) and Doug Hester (Christie); nieces, Michelle Murphy (Johnny), Sydney Hester and Tonya Hardy; nephews, Christopher Hester (Jennifer) and Trevor Hester; a number a great and great-great nieces and her very dear friend, Judy Wheatly.
Gloria was born July 30, 1954 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Marvin Luvell Hester and Martha Lottie Heritage Hester. She was a retired X-ray technician.
