REFORM | Hazel Eloise Sanford, age 79, of Reform, died July 6, 2014, at Pickens Co. Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Arbor Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Sanford Pogue; her parents; sisters, Dorothy Pike and Hilda Taylor; and brother, C. L. Peeks.Survivors include her husband, Elman C. "Bud" Sanford of Reform, Ala.; and son, Robbie Sanford of Reform, Ala.Hazel was born August 12, 1934 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Lester Peeks and Janie Bryant Peeks. She was a homemaker, a member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church and a life long resident of Pickens County.Pallbearers will be Donald Ray Grace, Mike Chain, W. A. Taylor, Billy Bolling, Hubert Kelley and Paul Bolling.
