REFORM | Helen Roberta Jones, age 75, of Reform, died November 17, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Shelton and Rev. Kenneth Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Sarah Adaline Jones, Trudy Adell Donnelly, Anna Catherine Hydrick and Beatrice Jones; four brothers, W.C. "Buddy" Jones, Henry Parker Jones, Johnny Lee Jones and Bobby Dean Jones.
Survivors include her sisters, Mary Josephine Kelley of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Irene House of Reform, Ala.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Jones was born May 23, 1939 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Robert Henry Jones and Annie Mae Hughes Jones. She was a homemaker and member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Allen Hydrick, Randy Hydrick, Patrick Fair, Tony Mullenix, Scott Hydrick, and Ricky Hawthorne.
Honorary pallbearers are Paul Bolling, members of Arbor Springs Baptist Church, doctors of DCH Regional Medical Center, Dr. Julia Boothe, staff of Arbor Woods Nursing Home, and friends and neighbors.
