FAIRHOPE – Helen Louise Truitt, age 95, died October 18, 2016 at Fairhope Health & Rehab. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brannon Pinion officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following service at the funeral home with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Truitt and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Hickman Parnell (Jim); stepdaughters, Gina McKinney (Greg) and Billie Grace Jones (Ricky); stepson, Alan Truitt (Dianne); grandchildren, Rodney Michael Dutton (Vicki), Chad Douglas Dutton (Lisa), Michele Dutton Hand; great-grandchildren, Patrick O'Brien Hand, Matthew Dutton Hand, Samuel Ellis Dutton, Mason Douglas Dutton, Tyler Michael Dutton (Allyson), Emily Michele Dutton and Michael Douglas Meadows; and great-great grandson, Tanner Michael Dutton.
Helen was born December 28, 1920 in Coalfire, Alabama to the late Herman Kent Harcrow and Nora Bell Caldwell Harcrow. She was a member of Reform First Free Will Baptist Church, a former employee of Reform Cap Factory and former manager of the Town and Country Motel in Reform.
