ALICEVILLE – Henry Edsel "Ed" Orton, Jr., age 75, of Aliceville, Ala., died May 7, 2018, in Columbus, Miss. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th St. NE in Aliceville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Orton and his parents.
Survivors include his best friend, Martha Farr of Aliceville, Ala. and numerous cousins.
Ed was born November 13, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Henry E. Orton, Sr., and Betty Gay Orton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
