Henry Hayes Latham, age 80, of Gordo, AL died October 28, 2026 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, November 2, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Susie Mae Latham; brothers, Earl Latham (Joann) and Joe Latham (Fay) and sister, Ruby Latham Oglesby (Junior).

Survivors include his three daughters, Sherry Latham Ricketson (Carlton) of Chattanooga, TN, Shelly Latham Bain (Jerome) of Carrollton and Stephanie Latham Fair (Ben) of Gordo, his son, William Hayes “Billy” Latham (Patricia) of Gordo; brother, Leon Latham (Elise) of Gordo; seven grandchildren, Alex Ricketson (Jennifer), Ethan Ricketson (Rebecca), Julie Vick (Brett), Jenna Meeks (Cameron), Tyler Fair, Clay Latham (Marcie) and Austin Latham (Sydney) and four great-grandchildren, Walker Meeks, Ridge Meeks, Charlie Meeks and James “Hayes” Latham.

Hayes was born November 12, 1945 in Gordo, Alabama to the late John William “Bill” Latham and Susie Mae Springfield Latham. He was a former LPN for Bryce Hospital and retired from the VA Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Hayes was a member of the Free Will Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.

Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
